Look! It's the Nintendo 3DS!

It's the 3DS, and it's red.

It's the Nintendo 3DS!! Nintendo has recently released the 3DS last month, it's the latest addition to the DS family. So, what makes the 3DS so great? The answer is  in the console's name itself, it projects 3D graphics! And the best part is.......you don't need glasses to be able to view the 3D images!!!!
The 3DS is a part of the DS family, and it has a lot of similarities to the older DS consoles but, there are some changes and new features added to it.

The upper screen has a stereoscopic 3D display which gives a touch of reality to the games and makes gaming a lot more fun and exciting than ever before. Imagine playing Mario World, you're trying to save Princess Peach and all of a sudden...Bowser jumps out right in front of you!Yeah, that would be so cool!

Like the DSi, the 3DS also has a camera but, unlike the DSi, the 3DS not only has one,not two, but three. There's one inner camera which is used for creating Miis and for face recognition in some games, and two outer cameras which are used to take 3D pictures; the outer cameras are also used for AR games.
The Circle Pad which is right above the + Control Pad makes it much easier to move around in games than pressing some buttons (no offense + Control Pad).

An Adjustable Stylus which has taken the place of the former stylus(which can't extend longer.hm..maybe that's why it's been replaced). A stylus which can extend longer or become shorter is helpful(in some ways) but I still like the old ones better. Why? Because they're so cute and colorful :)

Even with the 3D effect and new features, the 3DS still has some downsides. The 3DS is actually bulkier than the previous DS consoles so it's not really a good idea to put it in your pocket cause if you do then you might just harm either the device or yourself. But if you're wearing something a little baggy or not really that skinny(like skinny jeans) then it's probably fine to put the 3DS in your pocket. The battery life is  very short, 3-5 hours depending on use. The camera has low resolution, not really any different from the DSi. Also, if you're a player that moves around alot while playing, you'll probably give yourself a headache viewing the 3D graphics...that's where the 3D Depth Slides comes along. You can use the 3D Depth Slider to control the intensity of the 3D effects. The system also recommends that you rest your eyes for 10 minutes for every 30 minutes of gameplay, a tip you should follow, just to avoid headaches and damaging of your eyes.

You can buy the Nintendo 3DS on Nintendo's website here for $250.
